Overview
The estate, approximately 5 miles south of downtown Asheville, sits high upon the east facing mountain ridge overlooking the community of Deerhaven. The community was originally settled around 1840. Prior to this time, the entire area, including the adjacent Biltmore Estate, was part of the Cherokee Nation.
Outdoors
Over one mile of walking trails wind their way over and around the grounds and rushing streams. So far, over 40,000 plants, including thousands of flowers, have been utilized in the creation of the gardens.
The Home

All total, 6 En Suite Bedrooms and a luxurious bunk room comfortably sleep 16; 7 full and 5 half baths, a full spa, media room, indoor bar and billiard room, a 100 linear foot deck, a 100 linear foot screened in patio, screened in Hibachi style grill and eating porch, separately controlled air

Perhaps one of the most beautiful suites available in America. The entire 1st level of the main house, over 5,000 square feet is occasionally available separately and might be just the right fit for a party who does not need a working kitchen or more than a single bedroom.
